Many professional athletes
wear sport tint lenses to enhance their visual performance. The use of
sport tint lenses is growing; among golfers, baseball players
and the new Sun Tac for runners. All BioSport tints are available in
full iris tint and pupil only tints. Both options in all colors can be
seen below. |

Amber blocks blue light to heighten contrast
sensitivity and visual acuity and is recommended for
baseball, softball,
football (daytime), skiing, and
water sports. This lens helps reduce glare during
competitive sporting events without having to wear bulky or
loose-fitting sunglasses. Baseball players benefit most from the Amber
lenses because it blocks out blue light which causes "visual noise" while
the red colors, such as a baseball's seams, are accentuated. Both Mark
Maguire and Chipper Jones have worn these lenses. |

Green mildly heightens contrast while
preserving color balance, which helps in bright outdoor light. |

Bolle Blue blocks blue light and "brightens"
yellow light. It has been successful in the treatment of migraines and is
a great choice for tennis, football, and
daytime baseball. |

|
Sun Tac reduces overall brightness while
preserving 100 percent normal color recognition such as with sunglasses.
Successful in treating light sensitivity issues, it is perfect for
outdoor activity on a sunny day,
running. |

Gray Green offers sun protection and improved
contrast sensitivity, making it ideal for golf. Golfers
will be able to better differentiate distance on a golf course
and makes it easier to
separate every blade of grass. |

Yellow heightens contrast in overcast, hazy,
low-light conditions outdoors or for indoor sports under
fluorescent light. It filters blue light for sharper focus and is most
effective for nighttime football and
baseball, night driving, and
hunting and shooting. |
