In 1993, Kate Spade entered the accessories world with six
handbags that emphasized utility, color and fabric.
Since then,
she has taken her simple aesthetic and evolved the idea into a
luxury accessory brand.
Clean, modern shapes, a nod to the
classics, sophisticated use of color, and an element of surprise
are the fundamental principles of the Kate Spade design
philosophy.
Kate believes that accessories should bring color and texture to
an everyday wardrobe based on each individual's sense of style.
Her primary design considerations are elegance, simplicity, and
enduring quality, and this philosophy applies to all accessories
that Kate designs -- from handbags, shoes, and glasses to paper,
beauty and home products.
This design inspiration is complemented by a company culture
that places great value on a genuine and gracious manner in all
relationships and communications.
Eyewear Collection:
The Kate Spade glasses collection draws upon the colors,
accents, and design concepts found in other Kate Spade product
categories.

feminine shapes and colors.
Temple treatments feature Kate Spade signature stripes and
patterns from the handbag collection, including the 'luggage
stripe' and 'noel mark'.

logo plaque are used on the outer temple. Each frame comes with
a micro-fiber, mocha-colored cleaning cloth, as well as a black,
pink or green snap-closure case lines with signature fabric.
